Queen Pageants!

QUEENS PAGEANT & TEEN PAGEANT

  • The queen must sign a contract with the Marshall County Fair Board for the time of her reign, 7/24/2017 to 7/23/2018. The Queen must enter the WV Fairs & Festivals Pageant in January 2018 in Charleston as a representative of the Marshall County Fair. Miss Marshall County Fair must be available to compete at the state level against approximately 80 reigning queens from festivals throughout West Virginia. This will be held in January 2018 on a Thursday through Sunday. Dates TBA. If you are currently another title holder, be certain that you can meet these obligations.
  • Clothing needed for the pageant: For the INTERVIEW: Select an outfit in a flattering color showing your personal style, but appropriate for a business interview. This may include suits, dresses, slacks or skirt outfits. Select shoes that are complimentary to your outfit. For the STREET WEAR COMPETITION: Street dress showing your personal style. This could be a suit, dress, slacks, capris, or skirt outfit with complimentary shoes (may be the same outfit worn for the interview if you choose). This is NOT to be a cocktail dress or evening wear. A floor length evening gown will be worn for the EVENING GOWN COMPETITION. Denim shorts (of acceptable length), boots and the provided tee-shirt for the EVENT PROMOTION.
  • Contestants must attend all mandatory sessions. Failure to attend will result in the contestant becoming ineligible to compete and forfeiture of entry fee.
